COURSE OBJECTIVES: At the completion of the seminar the participant will be able to:

1. List 2 developmental screening tools that can be easily used in a clinical setting
2. List at least 3 academic and/or psychosocial characteristics commonly seen in children with unilateral or minimal bilateral hearing loss
3. Describe at least 4 syndromes associated with hearing loss in children.
4. List 3 behavioral testing techniques that will assist in the assessment of hearing in children with special needs.
