The Trialliance, a group of therapy providers who represent the OT, PT, and SLP state associations, continues to meet with Medicaid and the Medicaid CMO’s to discuss therapy services and any therapy issues that arise.  The Trialliance enjoys having a proactive relationship with these entities, which is especially important as the nation and state navigate Healthcare changes. Members who have questions or input for the Trialliance should contact Kelly Ball at or Marla Mann at



  1. Georgia Medicaid will add a 4th CMO, CareSource, beginning July 1, 2017.  The Trialliance has been meeting with CareSource to ensure a smooth transition.  Members are encouraged to join the Healthcare listserv on the GSHA website to get future updates and to view meeting notes.
  2. GSHA healthcare leadership and lobbyists have had some positive conversations resulting in a change in the Children’s Intervention Services program effective April 1, 2017.  GSHA continues to look forward to continuing growth and advancement in the professions.
